Gravity Simulator
Click and drag in the canvas to launch a mass. Build a stable system — longer you keep bodies orbiting, higher you score.
- Place a body — click on the canvas to drop a mass at that point.
- Set velocity — click and drag, then release. The arrow shows initial direction and speed.
- Presets — Binary Star and Solar System spawn a pre-built configuration.
- Physics — every body attracts every other via Newtonian gravity. Close encounters slingshot; collisions merge.
- Collision — bodies that touch merge. Mass and momentum are conserved; radius grows.
- Escape — a body drifting far off-screen is lost to deep space.
- Scoring — 1 point per simulated second while 2+ bodies remain interacting.
- Game over — fewer than 2 bodies left.
- Speed — slow time to 0.25× or fast-forward to 4× with the slider.
- Trails — recent positions fade out behind each body so you can read orbits.
